    This pamphlet provides a brief description of the medical imaging procedure breast biopsy including information on who will be performing procedure?, prior to procedure instructions, what happens during procedure?, will it hurt?, how long it will take?, risks or complications, what happens afterwards?, follow-up instructions and information on who to contact if experiencing problems. A biopsy is a way of taking a small piece of tissue from your breast. We use ultrasound or MRI images to locate the spot to biopsy.
